Fiskarheimen (Stjorn)

Fiskarheimen – the Fisherman’s Home (at the bottom left in the photo above) is a guesthouse in the famous fishing fjord ‘Stjorn’ close to Trondheim in Mid-Norway. The houses were originally built by the local fishermen’s union in the 1960s and 1970s, therefore the name. Today it can offer about 15 rooms for rent-out and a huge common area (indoors and outdoors) for various social activities.

The fishing village, Råkvåg, has been advertised as one of the twenty most beautiful places in Norway and the fjord ‘Stjorn’ has for centuries been ranked as one of the best fishing fjords in Norway.
